(34,062 posts)36. In Ohio, absentee/early voting typically uses the same method of voting
as on election day. So unless you are doing absentee voting by mail, if your county uses DREs, you will vote on a DRE as an absentee/early voter.
But you have a right (even on election day) to use a paper ballot (in Ohio).
