(823 posts)18. Texas put in medical malpractice torte reform in 2003
with low limit on "pain and suffering" that can be paid out. Lawyers won't usually go after medical malpractice because the payout is not worth the time and expense. I found this out through the experience of a friend of mine.

Now they will sue the hospital and in TX could easily win if one of the TT* judges is in charge.
