I was walking down a busy road that used to be near my house.

I saw a bird alive on the road he ran very close to the cars. I was worried he would get hit as none of the drivers were aware of him,

As I got closer I saw a dead bird hit by a damn car and this bird was her mate and he was screaming at the cars because they came close to hitting his dead mate he was unconsolable.

So I went to a Wendy's near where this happened asked for a plastic bag. I inverted the bag by putting my hand into it. As I approched his dead mate he was watching me nearby. I picked up her broken body off the road.

I walked off the road with her, placed her in a hidden place under some bushes he was perched like 6 inches away watching me.

I laid her down and tucked her little head down gently .
I backed away and he flew to her immediately.

I could hear him crying out.

Than the bird flew past me circling around pretty close looking twords me,than he flew back under the bushes, crying.

Nobody thinks of this.

But when animals get murdered by cars those drivers are killing mates, freinds, children, and those animals love thier loved ones too just like we do.

To describe the act of accidently hitting a bird with a car as "murder" is absurd. Dial H For Hero Jul 2021 #23
