Their No/Present Vote also meant "to deny reimbursing the National Guard, and local and federal law enforcement, including overtime pay and wellness programs for the US Capitol Police, for their response to the January 6 attack on the Capitol"

If they wanted this they would have voted yes. This bill was not about Defunding the Police.
It was about THIS particular day, Jan 6, 2021, & to honor & assist those who fought & died in the direct line of fire.
