He got Bin Laden because he allowed his forces and aides to do their work on the ground before he did something showy.

It is just weeks before an election and this is a dangerous time to do anything for the wrong reasons. The president has a difficult decision to make. He needs to sit back, put his wish to win and his emotions on the back burner and make a careful decision. Obama has great instincts about this kind of thing. He should not allow the hysteria of others to rush him.
