stand up to the scariest we know of so far, India's B.1.167, and preliminary study shows India's Covaxin is also. No doubt all the others are readying for statements.

With the virus raging around the planet, though, we'd better assume it will change in the future and that more and worse new variants will be coming, and be ready to go for booster immunization if needed. B.1.167 and others already arrived in the U.S. are far more infectious than what we've seen over the past year, and it'll be very strange if places where a lot of people refuse to get vaccinated don't turn into hot spots.
