Thank you Govenor Andrew Cuomo. You lead when Everyone Else Fking Failed.

Honestly, throughout the entire time of COVID, I was encouraged on a personal level as we all sat isolated from our previous lives & witnessing the horrors of what NY was dealing with.

As Gov Cuomo begged for assistance from Trump, he was ignored for being a Blue State.

We were all on our own & watched daily as NY City ground to a halt & looked on, stunned & in shock as refridgerator trucks backed up to NY Hospitals.

I was encouraged & felt supported in my own helplessness & isolation by Gov Cuomo's daily TV briefings, & I live 1500 miles across the country from New York.

For anyone to fault this man who did what he could under extreme conditions & ignored by his own President, Govenor Cuomo's speaking to NYers & citizens throughout America & beyond it's shores, did for us all what Trump failed to do.

Gov Cuomo never whitewashed the truth of the reality happening in his beloved home State & City.
But what he remarkably DID manage to summon within himself, was a reach-out to anyone listening, of the dangers, warnings, reality & personal connection of support for all who were abandoned & left on our own by the President of the United States, because as we eventually came to find out HE, in turn, was completely void of the emotional capacity to care for the people he was trusted to care for.

Govenor Andrew Cuomo's daily briefings about the crisis of his tortured city became our support, source of information & our connection to our own fellow citizens when in isolation, we no longer could risk a walk out our own front door.
