22. It just occured to me, as a duffer/golfer,

we play our game as close to the rules as we can. We are not so good as to play the game for money. But what I just sensed, watching the distance of the gimme, was the height of arrogance. Pros make millions proving they don't have to cheat. The rules level life. It matters no longer to one with ever lowering standards, that getting beyond the rules is the game in their sink. He's good at his rules. Good rulers, however, are gooder. We need goodest rulers.
