the case, including that the last democratic election might have been 2012. Those years of real anxiety turned out to be for nothing.

The enormous irregularities and foreign electoral warfare of 2016 apparently caused/forced closer scrutiny of elections by our various intelligence services and election authorities than ever before. That was with the WH, senate, and more state governments before in GOP hands.

Heck, even the massive election thieves in GA started acting like election protection was their top concern. And the Democratic Party also tightened up to prevent future antidemocratic attempts to subvert the primary and steal the nomination from the majority, an additional concern.

They'd do it in 2022 and 2024 if they could, of course, but I at least feel a lot better about it now.
