I hear you. And I have shared that for over 50 years, too.
In boxing, I learned to harness those destructive internal forces -- anger and fear -- to use to my full advantage in delivering a destructive force in the ring. And I would be outright lying if I attempted to claim that I don't experience those feelings gurgling up inside of me, as if I was a young guy, getting ready to enter that ring to fight. In fact, I've had that feeling frequently from 2020 to now, and it is usually a comfortable, warm feeling. I'm lucky it passes though, as I'm old and in no hurry to fight again! Ha!
We've seen some strange times over the decades.

I admit, I was disappointed in the outcome even though I knew that they wouldn't convict.
