I had no idea about the ties to the disgraceful Kerry allegations. I voted for Kerry and that whole smear campaign was ugly propaganda. That would have turned me off instantly to anything Johnson had to say. In retrospect, I can now see how the man's Hillary support was simply a clever cover to disrupt and sow mistrust about Democrats in general, a variation on Limbaugh's Operation Chaos.
