17. Is there a metal detector installed at the Senate chamber door too?

It really needs to be done in both chambers, I hope they've considered this.

On second thought, why aren't there metal detectors installed at every outside entrance? Why only the chambers, when legislators are frequently seen walking through the Capitol but outside the chambers? Congressmen and Senators are in equal danger in the hallways, if people have not been checked for weapons.
