57. Vets are just as bad as people doctors in terms of cost.

Back surgery for our Dachshund ran over a couple grand.

Vet wants to do an ultrasound of my old cat — $900.

What’s more, I looked into an insurance plan my vet was offering, and the damn cost of that was higher than MY insurance.

And, like people docs, before they want to talk about anything else, it’s always $$$$$$ first. My ex lost his temper when the emergency vet pulled that shit with the Doxie that was in great pain.
