Live in rural California and there has not been a local polling station (vote by mail only) since the 2008 election.
Used to like to go to vote. Never had much of a wait anywhere I voted, maybe 10 minutes at the most. First voted in 1972 and have not missed an election. Have voted in Humboldt, Alameda, Trinity, and Shasta counties in CA and Benton and Multnomah counties in OR and don't recall ever waiting more than 10 minutes on voting day ever or having to drive (or walk) more than 10 minutes to get to a polling station.
The impediments to voting now were not something to cross one's imagination most of my life.

Covid was a big concern of ours too. But also didn't want to risk our ballots being delayed.
