Once Trump is out of office, he'll have limited value to Putin. Why should Putin shelter him?

More likely, Putin would want a defeated Trump to stay in the U.S. where he could continue to sow discord and chaos from the sidelines. You know that when Trump loses, he'll throw the greatest hissy-fit in history.

His expected behavior is exactly why Trump should be3 tied up with as many legal and financial problems as possible. Then he wouldn't have much time to continue being a pain in our collective asses.
