except to say, they aren't becoming angry and frightened. they have been angry and frightened since well before trump entered the picture. people that follow a personality like trump are scared of things they don't understand, which includes people different from them. trump and the republican party didn't create this fear, ignorance creates it. but trump and the republicans capitalize on this fear and exploit it. then this fear turns into anger.
