is on the side of avoiding personal attacks.

Pretty sure Biden's team will be cautioning him against ramping up personally attacking pool reporters for the next 17 days.

I think Erickson was mistaken, non-serious, and just looking for a sensational response for "just asking" a question spiked by the Trump campaign, but personal attacks on the media are off-brand for Biden/Harris.
