That they could be so utterly devoid of consideration, curiosity, or even a grasp on reality, no matter how tenuous, that they would nominate this serial failure left me simply dumbfounded. That there are enough people in this country, so mind-bogglingly stupid that they could be taken in by such an obvious nincompoop, to swing a national election is undeniable proof that we have become too stupid to live. We should, and probably will be, put down as both a mercy and to protect the species from further degradation.

We had The American (half) Century and we traded it all for a confidence scheme so transparent that any six-year-old would recognize it for the scam it is.
