If anything, the unrelenting 'But her EMAILS!' campaign makes plain that media is quite capable of hanging on to one story and keeping it in public view, going over and over it in great detail over time, if they want to. Apparently, when it comes to trump, they just don't want to.
Look to who owns the media and what serves their selfish interests for the reasons why this is so.
