12. Welcome to the party. And the Party!

I suspect we're going to see a lot more people finally starting to wake up to what the modern day Republican Party has become. Personally, Bush vetoing funding expansion for health insurance for children was the straw that broke this camel's back.

I'll just ask that, should you find yourself dissatisfied with what we Democrats are able to get accomplished, you'll remember the role that what the Republican Party as a whole has become has played and will undoubtedly continue to play in obstructing us getting anything done, and hold the proper party accountable.

Case in point, Trump bloviating last night that he gets to have so many judges because Obama left so many vacancies, as though that were not entirely the result of Mitch McConnell enforcing minority rule, and not even by merely opposing nominees, as is the rightful place of the Senate to do, but by obstructing them even getting hearings.

It honestly should not be Trump that pushes you to oppose the Republican Party.

It's the Republican Party's blatant efforts to intentionally break government only to then say only they can fix it, and their abject failure to stand up for their own principles, like they did when they forced Nixon from office, because they care more now about ownin' tha libs than defending democracy itself.

They're perfectly fine with Fascism, as long as the boot is on the neck of the people they despise, and they've shown that FAR beyond any reasonable doubt.
