39. Trump's a short term thinker, focused only on himself

Right now, the short term goal is winning re-election. Despite DeSantis and all the other machinations FL Rs are doing to depress Dem turnout, Trump's not running away with FL. He needs to consolidate the Cuban vote. Lagoa might do that for him, thus she'd be his choice.

Don't make the mistake of thinking Trump's going to change who he is or how he operates. He's not.
