6. I'm really not one for conspiracy theories

But the more it becomes obvious Trump is a flying dumpster fire going down as hard as possible, the more I wonder why the hell Republicans aren't sawing desperately away at the rope. He'll drag them all down. And yet still this mealy-mouthed bullshit again and again. If you can't rebuke him now, when can you?

What does the President have on these people?

Graham is definitely seeing the writing on the wall. He's in danger and he knows it. If nothing else, his self-preservation skills are kicking into high gear.

You'd think anyone in a tenuous re-election would start exiting the building. But no, there they are, scurrying and hiding and hoping no one notices them crouching in a corner.

It's so completely baffling. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like it. The President floats a flagrantly unconstitutional idea that is a clear and present danger to the stability of the Republic, and the best response we can get out of some people is, "Now watch this drive."

I'm starting to be convinced that Trump and his friends have compromising material on some of these people. I can find no other reasonable explanation at this point. The election is a few months out. They've appointed all of the judges. It should be ok to cut loose by now, and idiot has given them a golden opportunity. Yet they don't take it.
