Okay, I'm guessing. It looks a bit like "drop foot" which can be temporary or permanent. Back problems can cause it, like bulging disks. But pain is often connected to such problems. A mild stroke could result in something similar. And with that quick rush to the hospital, and a cognitive test, suggests there was concern about such a thing. And that's the same side as the hand that couldn't handle the water glass.
