told me that when the restaurants re-opened there they could not serve alcohol. Same bullshit excuse about people getting inebriated and not distancing. This is a state that only sells liquor through state stores, and they closed down all the liquor stores when they first closed down.

A random semi-related thought: I always thought that closing bars and liquor stores on an election day was truly dumb. After all, if your candidate wins, you want to be able to celebrate. Conversely, if your candidate loses, you may want to drown your sorrows.
