7. I thought Mary Trump's book was different and useful.

We all knew Trump is a horrible person, but she explains why, and more importantly, she warns about how he is likely to continue to behave in a way that other authors have not done. Bolton's book, on the other hand, just confirmed what we already suspected: that Trump is completely incompetent as the representative of the US in foreign relations, and is a terrible negotiator who's been owned by every despot on Earth. But the book itself, at least the excerpts I've read (won't buy it), is mainly a turgid, poorly-written explanation of how Bolton himself is smarter than everybody else and not just Trump. As such it's useless.
