53. You got the pronunciation right--not bad!

The un-stressed "o" in Russian is indeed pronounced "ah." Few non-speakers of Russian catch that.

The word division is only slightly off. Da-svidanya. "До" means "until."

Literally translated, it is just like the French "Au revoir," the Italian "arrivederci," the German "auf Wiedersehen," or the Dutch "tot ziens." Basically, "until the next meeting," or "until we next see each other." You get the idea.
