That's a legitimate way to look at co2 production as a function of economic output.

Further, the links you used are only talking about co2. India produces more particulates than anyone else due to their annual crop leftover burnings.

Carbon monoxide isnt even being tracked afaik.

Sulfites aren't being tracked.

So the title of the link you posted is basically propaganda, since co2 is not even remotely the only form of pollution, because they purposely left out particulates, methane, carbon monoxide and sulfites.
