They could've held a trial. Public opinion could've forced GOP assholes to vote guilty, or at least made them look so shitty for voting not guilty that we could easily vote them out in 2022 and beyond. We could have and should have had weeks of testimony from cops who lost their eyes, fingers, or the families of the cops who died.
Clinton impeachment trial went on over 30 days. And he wasn't removed.
They should've let the truth come out and let the American people decide for themselves.
Democrats are just weak when it comes to standing up to the GOP.
This decision means the nightmare isn't over.
It just gives 45 a chance to recharge.
The he will be back, ruining all of our lives again.

I admit, I was disappointed in the outcome even though I knew that they wouldn't convict.
