me from Covid 19 but it would help protect others if I am sick I just get pissed.
Because if that is the truth than why are the first responders and health care workers fighting to get more masks and are wearing masks?
I completely understand not buying them so as to make sure the people on the front lines have them. But don't tell me that a protective layer in front of my mouth doesn't do any good because that just irritates my sensibilities.
This week all of a sudden they are saying to wear the masks "to protect others" (The surgeon general said that)
I really do not like when I am lied to and I bet other people don't like it either.

It has to help. I think it's more to keep people from thinking they are protected and going out.

That it could spread before the person has symptoms was known pretty much from the start.

If it's so difficult to do, why didn't they send a PSA showing us how to do it?

Wearing a mask isn't an "either/or" proposition and I don't think it has been promoted as such.
