22. Reminds me of the story of the man trapped on his roof during a flood.

A guy in a canoe comes past and offers to rescue him. He says, "No, thanks. The Lord will provide."
The water gets up to his knees. A guy in a rubber raft comes by. He says, "No, thanks. The Lord will provide."
The water is up to his chin. A police boat comes by. He says, "No, thanks. The Lord will provide."
Then he goes under, and drowns.
Once in heaven, he asks God why He didn't save him. The Lord says, "Come on, I sent you a canoe, a raft, and a boat!"

So...

On this National Day of Prayer, I'm going to pray that God sends us a wise, smart, strong, competent, capable, and empathetic leader to replace the one we've got now -- and I pray that Americans, stranded in the current chaos, are wise enough to know this person when they see him!
