21. I am not saying it was better "back in the day"

I hate when people post those "nostalgic" days of the past because there was open segregation and women were not considered equal (hell, they still aren't by many).

A couple of the main differences are the proliferation of the gun lobby and people walking around armed and dangerous AND the difference between the haves and have-nots. When I was growing up, the only time I saw a gun was when I was hunting (I don't do that stuff anymore, by choice) and at that time, CEOs only made about 6 times the amount of their workers.
Also, the tax rate was fairer for the common person at that time.
We will never get back to those days, IMO.
