I got the hell outta that state.

2016 saw the entire state go red. No one at the national level helped keep Claire McCaskill in her seat and the rest is history.

The Democratic party has no offices in rural MO - even Springfield where I moved from did not staff an office. Had one, but no one was home. For so many years we had at least one Dem Senator and would also elect a Dem gov. It’s all red now and even the two biggest cities which tend blue can’t turn the tide back.

That state is lost.
