... the responsibility that USAF medics job required.

To be 18-22 and see what could and did happen to many young women who had an unwanted pregnancy with few options.

To be called out in the middle of the night to assist in a life-saving procedure. Many ended well some did not. Some left the young women with no hope of ever having another pregnancy.

Now some fifty years later with no access to legal safe procedures for an unwanted pregnancy, many in desperation will turn to unsafe alternatives. Especially if you are poor.

Yet keep in mind if you are rich or at least financially comfortable. You will still be able to get to a safe option to end the unwanted pregnancy.
