You really have to appreciate the absurdity of what happened (pretty much copied from the article, this isn't a joke I made up):

"You are eating, it's against the law"
"So what?"
"You are going to jail"
"I'm not going to jail for eating a sandwich"
"No, for resisting arrest"

Resisting arrest for what? For not being ok with getting detained for eating which wasn't a reason for getting arrested?
