I can tell you that the long receipts are annoying to those of us who work in the stores and ring out customers. The good news though is that you can change your CVS Extracare account to accept digital receipts only. We can take care of that at the register or you can call 1-800-SHOP-CVS and they will change your account for you.

Digital receipts are sent to your email and you will still receive your extra bucks and coupons there. You just use the “send to card” button and the coupons will show up on your account the next time you ring out. You can choose to apply any or all coupons then, or you can also wait if you prefer.

I’d also recommend adding the cvs app to your phone. You receive a $5 extra buck coupon just for doing so and it makes it easier to keep up with sales and discounts. Hope this info is helpful.
