you are applying to school boards.
You are correct - for some.
Sadly, perhaps, too many.
But, here again, it is up to the public to be active and involved in what is happening in their government - both locally, regionally, and nationally.
As an educator, both in the classroom and as an administrator, I've indeed seen the things you've mentioned. But, I've also see active, quality school boards consistently step up and do the "right thing" - politics be damned.
Not much different from what we're seeing in DC these days, is it?
