(8,671 posts)Because the hearings are the only way people will hear the truth about how our elections have become so corrupt, to the point of an enemy country controlling them, with the help of one party. That could force people to demand we fix this shit. I have no expectations senate will impeach, but exposing the corrupted election process, and GOP, from public hearings and lawfully requiring Barr et al release all evidence is better than just hoping we all vote, or are allowed to, to out the GOPutins. Maybe Inanka's Chinese voting machines are completely secure. The whole "Witch Hut" is about corrupted elections, so we just allow it all to go without consequences and let our thoughts and prayers give us hope this regime will fix it? What has been done to secure the elections so far, how much time is left to do so. The Statute of limitations expire in 2022 for all Mueller's potential charges to be acted upon. You think trump and GOP will not cheat every way possible, even with Putin and China aid, for another 4 year term to protect him and their asses to let all this potential treasonous evidence expire? Doing nothing did what for Garland, and 2016, with all our top agencies knowing it was going on? This is all about securing our elections and voting rights, or voting is useless, i.e. Georgia, Florida 2018.
