In reply to the discussion: Deripaska's company to build aluminum plant in Kentucky, home of McConnell & Rand Paul [View all]ehrnst
(32,640 posts)58. Well.. let's go through this:
Impeachment hearings would portray tRump and mcconnell as the beneficiaries of foreign campaign financing and influence.
To whom would impeachment hearings portray tRump and mcconnell as the beneficiaries of foreign campaign financing and influence?
McConnell's supporters? tRump supporters?
No, as I've said, it will not. They will not ever admit that he, McConnell or DT have ever made a mistake, because then they made a mistake. Much like they think Dems will never, ever be right....
So..... How does that stop the plant in Kentucky? Share with me what your "imagination" has come up with on that.

Your motives here are personal in nature, and quite insulting in tone. Have a nice day.

I said impeachment, that was my answer. I believe that it is a historic imperative.

"Discussion complete?" Again - how will impeachment get rid of Deripaska's plant in Kentucky?

We must start somewhere in order to set things right, which will (hopefully) restore the sanctions.

Not sure why would anyone feel like stopping the plant from being built is an important goal?

I suppose it could be read that way but I think the main thrust is not 'making sure the plant isn't
