Some things are undeniable. A couple of years ago I had a very inconvenient stomach ulcer. I did not know this until it burst and I started vomiting blood. To be fair I ignored the symptoms for a wee while. My SO phoned for an ambulance. It was there at my home in 15 minutes. I was in the emergency room for about 3 hours. I was admitted, I spent 3 days in the hospital and then insisted I needed to be discharged because we had a general election that day and I was going to vote. I went back the next day for further tests. I have been back 4 times in the last couple of years, to manage my ulcer (finally ulcer free, yay!). COST? ZERO. I pay my tax (more than the average) and when I need it.... I told you I was ill...
