11. I admit, I was disappointed in the outcome even though I knew that they wouldn't convict.

However, I got over that very quickly when I realized that the morning's headlines could very well read "Bipartisan Majority of Senators Vote to Convict Donald J. Trump". They probably won't, but it is a completely accurate headline and summation. His punishment is still coming, albeit probably via different channels.

And yes, we need to fight like hell to not only keep our majority but to widen our lead. Be as tenacious as Stacey Abrams.
