(3,818 posts)Legislating is hard work and running around with a camera/phone in hand instead of learning how the House works, how writing a Bill works, etc. True civil servants are never heard from, they are too busy working for the People, which is as it should be.
Before she was sworn in, cool, groovy. Now is when the hard work starts and it is something you do not learn overnight, especially if you have never had a state office, much less a city counsel seat.
Being a twitter, instagram, whatever, star is a case study in how not to legislate. Case in point - Drumpf
And no, you cannot do both, you need to make a decision as to where your time lies -- tweeting/instagraming or working. Especially since most of her platform is not new, and she needs to read up as to what happened in the past in that socialist democratic laws were knocked down and by whom, and how to get them passed.
