Why isn't his bipartisan vote being trumpeted to the skies? When the Senate boxed in some luckless Democrat like Joe Manchin or Claire McCaskill, and forced a vote on a bill that one or the other of them had to vote for, the media couldn't get over how wonderful all the bipartisanship was. They'd shove a microphone Manchin's or McCaskill's face and force them to declare how delicious that turd they just had to eat was.

But 10 Republicans crossing the aisle, voting with the Democrats for the undisputed good of the country? The American people want safe, wholesome food, right? Where are the media chuckleheads celebrating? No, they're too wrapped up in the latest manufactured distraction.
