There are returnees that supported both Hillary and Bernie who attempted to return and I voted to ban those accounts when the evidence is convincing that they are returnees or when they show malicious intent. There are undoubtedly more returnees from the group that supported Bernie than those that supported Hillary because so many of them violated the TOS or they decided to leave and returned under different usernames. The reasons for using new login credentials range from not being able to log on after the Election Day hack, to losing login credentials, to wanting to assume a new identity. We try to help those that we see are having problems because of the hack or login problems so that they can reactivate their old accounts so that they don't lose their posting history. When we believe that someone is registering a sock account or reactivating a sleeper account then we take notice since the TOS authorizes only one account per person.
