I wish I could remember who started the thread here on DU to give proper credit - they had pointed out that one of the few advantages to being black was that it was pretty much assured that they didn't have to put up with right wing relatives for the holidays.

In any case, you did a good job of explaining facts to your sister.... too bad she won't open her eyes and see.
