He displays the classic justification of the zealot. Self rightousness and as you pointed out that the ends justify the means. I don't know what goes on in his mind about the incident. I do believe that it took place and he ascribed it as just another of his and his buddy's pranks without any shred of guilt. Perhaps even suppressed and put out of mind with a couple of more beers and long forgotten on just another day in the life of a privileged brat. Is he the example of the affects of adolescent binge drinking?
