"Not that Germany is or will rise again as a authoritarian dictatorship" – you never know. It *can* happen here (Germany), again. I'm pretty sure it can happen anywhere.

The US is on a dangerous path, but it's not even close to Nazi Germany yet. I hope in 6 months the situation is relaxed a bit because there's a Dem majority in the house and possibly the senate. Just make sure every sane person is registered to vote & actually votes on election day. Let's hope there are enough sane US citizens left! I have some trust in that, not everyone watches Fox News 24/7 after all.
