Probably far too much of my time has been spent watching the Eagles. It was a family ritual. If we werent watching in the same place, the phone calls would ensue. Winning the Super Bowl brought my 82 year old Dad a ton of joy.
It is a brutal sport. The more I know, the harder it is to watch.
The owner Jeff Lurie has given quite a few second chances to problem players. He pulled to plug quickly on the Chip Kelly experiment.
But giving the Traitor a win was bridge too far. So I tendered a letter of resignation as a life long Eagles fan. As did my Dad. He and his brothers all served in the military at a time when they were treated better in Europe/
