National controversy will only benefit republicans at this moment. Many of them are done with this governor and he they may even be getting close to impeachment. With the second felony indictment, I think they will.
For McCaskill's race, she has an opportunity to keep hammering Hawley's connecttion to the gov. and his exploitation of veterans. Talking about this lawsuit gives Hawley a chance to talk about something that may please his base. We want him to have no break from defending the donations he received from the indicted governor. We especially want republicans to abandon all of their candidates in the voting booth.
