with too many relatives and friends, I doubt it. Alcoholics have little appetite and they lose weight because they do not eat very well and developed lots of malnutrition problems. My BIL, a once big and burley man of 6'3 and at least 230 lbs, weighed 135 lbs and looked like a prisoner from a Russian gulag at the time his alcoholism killed him. It's a well known fact that bars offer patrons lots of salty snacks and a menu designed to trick social drinkers into buying more alcohol. Even so, social drinkers aren't very likely to be worried about their waistlines during Happy Hour.
