The first point he never contradicts. The second two I didn't get as much, especially later in the book. His "press is really liberal" seems to be parroting how the Trumpists see mainstream press, not necessarily his own take on it. Or perhaps to distinguish mainstream press from obviously right wing media like Breitbart. Murky.

He seems to take a sort of neutral position on the Russian dealings and actually doesn't go too deep into that, possibly in deference to an ongoing investigation. I don't know. But he does not say that Trump is in the clear in that regard. Definitely keep reading. He thinks its preposterous Junior would not have immediately filled Papa in on The Meeting.

The book is about the dysfunction and Trump's character/ineptitude. I think that's why he doesn't do a deep dive into Russia. Kind of irrelevant to the primary points being made in this particular book.
